The body's immune system keeps you healthy by fighting off infections and other dangers to good health.Sometimes the food you eat act as triggering system(antigen)for the immune system of the body(antibiodies). The symptoms can range from very mild to severe. The most severe allergic reaction id anaphylaxis

Common symptoms:

Shortness of breath

Weak pulse

Rash on the body

Repetitive coughing

To diagnose this condition blood tests can be done and Ige can measured to a specific food.

Another test is skin prick test.

GALT

Gut associated lymphoid tissue includes peyers patches, the appendix and lymohoid follicles. Peyers patches occurs in the ileum. It basically acts as digestive tract's immune system. It contains T and B lymphocytes which carry out attacks on antigens and help in defence mechanism of the body.

M cells

Microfold cells are cells of mucosa associated lymphoid tissue.Their main function is to transport antigens from lumen to cells of the immune system, which helps in starting a immune response.M cells are of immunological significance and they also help in the transport of soluble macromolecules.

A suggestion is made that the proportion of people who have food allergies and/or sensitivities is 0.54. You believe that the proportion is actually different from 0.54. The hypotheses for this test are Null Hypothesis: p = 0.54, Alternative Hypothesis: p ≠ 0.54.
