1.Hydatidi form mole is an abnormal condition of the placenta where partially degenerative and partially proliferative changes takes place in the young chorionic villi

Symptoms and signs

Vaginal bleeding, lower abdominal pain, excessive vomiting, thyrotoxicity, expulsion of grape like vesicles from vagina, pallor, pre eclamptic features, absence of fetal heart sounds.

2. Invasive mole : This is also a gestational trophoblastic disease which involves growth of the tumors.

3. Choriocarcinoma : This is a malignant trophoblastic cancer.

Pregnancy Induced Hypertension

1.Pre eclampsia : This is a type of pregnancy induced hypertension with a blood pressure of 140/90 mm Hg along with proteinuria.

2.Signs and Symptoms : pitting edema, proteinuria,high bp 140/90 mm Hg., Disturbed sleep, diminished urine output, Epigastric pain and blurred eye vision.

3.Diagnosis through BP measurement, urine test.

4.Eclampsia : Preeclampsia when complicated with coma and convulsions is called eclampsia.

5.Signs and symptoms : All the epileptic stages such as premonitory stage, clinic stage stage of coma.

6.HELLP Syndrome is Haemolysis, Elevated liver enzymes and Low platelet count which is also a way to diagnose pre eclampsia.
