I would classify my listening style as more of a content-oriented rather than people-oriented. In this style, I would rather focus on the content and the deep meaning of what the speaker is trying to convey while communicating. in this listening style, I pay undivided attention to the speaker's message and listens carefully without interrupting in between. After listening to the entire message, I respond accordingly.

Yes, I a surprise by the results because all the features of my listening style indicate towards active listening style in which more focus or undivided focus is put on the speaker and the message. but there are many things that require improvement in the active listening style as well.

Following are the improvements:

1. Avoid judgment after listening to the complete message is one thing that I would like to improve in my listening style. It is because otherwise, the speaker will hesitate to share something next time and try to hide the facts that are bothering them.

2. Show that I am listening is another thing that requires improvement. This is because of the fact that the speaker feels comfortable if we acknowledge the message or conversation that he/she is trying to do. I would change it by making some good and interactive physical gestures like eye contact and nodding head.

3. The last thing that I would change is the way of responding to the message. I would give advice only of asked otherwise the speaker will feel offended. sometimes people talk not to ask for advice but to share and sharing does not count advice.
