Select at least three course learnings in priority order that resonated the most with you. Describe the course learnings and why you believe they resonated with you. In describing the course learnings do not recite or discuss procedural knowledge from the text book or others writings – reflect on what you learned from your perspective in your words.

three courses that are resonated with me are:-
1. Acquire the Skill of Asking Better Questions
The quality of your life will largely be determined by the quality of the questions you ask yourself on a regular basis. ~ Tony Robbins
Most people suck at asking the right questions. As a result, they suck equally as bad at getting the right answers.
The single most valuable skill that I’ve learned in my life has been constantly and repeatedly forcing myself to ask better questions.
But what exactly do I mean by this?
For starters, there are some obvious examples.
Asking “How can I afford this” instead of simply stating, “I can’t afford this”.
Asking, “How can I avoid total failure if this project doesn’t go according to plan?” instead of “What if I fail?”
Asking, “Why did this person act in this way?” instead of asking, “How could this person do this to me?”
But those are pretty basic.
What I’m referring to are the paradigm-shifting questions that force you to adopt entirely new modalities of thinking and being.
One of my favorites is from Xprise founder, Peter Diamindis, “If you had to achieve your 10-year goals in the next 6 months, how would you do it?”
This question forces you to think in a way that is likely weird and foreign to you.
It doesn’t allow you to give half-assed answers like, “Work harder” or “Hire an assistant”.
It forces you to truly distill the most important facets of rapid growth in a way that is uncommon in the world of entrepreneurship.
A few of my other favorites are:
Where am I focusing on small battles instead of big wins (e.g.
over optimizing the supplements you take instead of just eating
real foods and going to the gym)
What would happen if I did the opposite for 48 hours? (the question
that helped Tim Ferriss become the #1 sales rep in his company
almost overnight).
What steps can I take to prevent failure and, in the worst case
scenario, what can I put into place to ensure I recover
quickly?
What would this look like if it were easy?
What if I already had everything I needed to be happy now?
The better you can get at asking yourself the right questions, the
easier the answers will be to find and implement.
Ask better questions and you’ll get a better life.
2. The Skill of Communication and Persuasion
With this single skill you can make millions, transform Federal policies, and create a life that exceeds your wildest expectations.
Everything that you desire in life is out there. But it’s up to you to learn how to communicate and persuade others to help you get it (and hopefully to repay the favor when they do).
The SINGLE most important skill that you can acquire in your lifetime is the skill of communication and persuasion.
Written and verbal.
Sales, marketing, storytelling, seduction… They are all subsets of communication.
If you can learn to clearly and effectively share your message with the world in a way that elicits an emotional response, there’s nothing that you cannot do.
Think about the past few presidential elections here in the US.
You and I both know ok well that the results of these elections had NOTHING to do with policy (most voters aren’t even aware of the policies that specific candidates plan to enact).
The results were created entirely through the art of communication.
Trump didn’t win the 2016 election because of his policy. He won because he was able to communicate his message, vilify his enemies, and persuade his followers more effectively than any of the other candidates.
Whether you love him or hate him, you can’t argue that the man knows how to communicate in a way that people respond to.
If this is something you’re interested in developing, I’d recommend checking out the YouTube channel Charisma on Command and watching pretty much every video they’ve created.
I promise, you’ll walk away with a greater understanding of how charisma and effective communication work and, as a result, you’ll be able to get what you want out of life much more easily.
3. Master the Skills of Learning and Critical Thinking
The greatest travesty of the 21st century is that we have school systems teaching young people what to think without ever equipping them with the skills they need to know how to think.
If you want to live an exceptional life, you must learn how to think critically and learn quickly.
The quality of your life is determined by the quality of your decisions.
And the quality of your decisions is largely determined on your abilities to analyze situations, learn new information, and then think critically about your observations.
Read every book you can find on decision making and critical thinking. Enroll in a speed reading class. Learn about the power of mnemonics and memory tricks.
The more effectively you can critically analyze information, the quicker you’ll be able to arrive at the correct conclusion and take the appropriate action.
