Your discussion board this week is to find an article that focuses on neoliberal activities anywhere in South Asia (it must be an article on a South Asian country or the realm itself). If at first try the term does not illicit articles, try using any part of the definition and search that way. Again, do not copy and pasts, but summarize the article and provide the URL for the class.
Neoliberalism means eliminating government intervention through price controls (ceiling and flooring) ,opening capital markets, lowering trade barriers etc.
South Asia has- Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Maldives, Nepal, India, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka.

Summary: This press release talks about potential in South Asian trade and how it can make life in there better off.
There are tariff and non tariff barriers put. However cooperation may bring good result. Countries agree to eliminate tariff but still exempt many goods to protect domestic jobs and industries.
Example: India- Bangladesh- small-volume trading among local communities on both sides of the border is reducing incentives for smuggling.
Also, progressive liberalization of India- Sri Lanka air services led to improved air service.
