I am working on an assignment using SQL Server Management and I need to print an ERD to a single page as a PDF file. I am not sure how to do this especially because the diagram is rather large...

I am using SQL Server Management Studio
I have created an Entity relationship diagram for AdventureWorks that includes all product tables. There are many tables.How do I print it to a single page?

There are multiple ways of doing this the simple and better way is

You have to Copy all of your diagrams via " Copy diagram to Clipboard " and simply move to Microsoft Word. Here you can setup your printing requirement if you are using a legal size paper like A4 then you print upto 16 diagrams on a sheet of paper by File then select Print once selected print go to Presets and click on Copies & Pages a drop down menu will appear now click on Layout. A sub menu will appear here you will select pages per sheet when you click on that it will ask how many diagrams you want to print on a sheet and what will be its layout direction. Select what so ever you want and then simply print. THIS WILL PRINT YOUR TABLES ON A SINGLE SHEET.

IF you are using 11 x 17 paper then you can print upto 30 diagrams on a sheet of paper and all the table objects will be nearly to their actual size

IF YOU DON'T WANT TO PRINT THEM YOU CAN SAVE ALL LAYOUT AND THEN TRANSFER IT TO A PDF FORM. YOU CAN SIMPLY TRANSFER IT OR IF YOU DON'T KNOW ON INTERNET THERE ARE TONS OF WEBSITES AVAILABLE THAT CAN TRANSFORM WORD FILE INTO PDF
