Expert Solution

a. 5 THINGS I WOULD DO AS SAME IN FUTURE GROUP PROJECTS AND WHY.

SL. NO.

THINGS

WHY

1

Setting clear deadlines.

I would try to do the same in my future projects also as this would help us in completing the projects on time as different people would be doing different things.

2

Designating a leader and editor.

This would help us a have a person who can properly lead us throughout the project and also an editor who can easily edit the project work in such a manner that it would be sensible for everyone who reads the same.

3

Dividing the whole work on the basis of group and individual work.

A proper division would be made for those areas of the project which demands a group work and those areas which should be done on individual basis.

4

Setting and providing proper time schedules for meeting.

This would help everyone in the group to have a basic understanding that they should atleast complete their work before they meet up for the discussion and further setting of activities.

5

Proper filing of each individuals works.

There should be separate files kept for each individual works so as to not get messed up with each other’s works and the same should be maintained by the leader of the project which would hold it to be final and at the end we as a team just need to integrate the whole individual works.

b. 5 THINGS I WOULD DO DIFFERENTLY IN FUTURE GROUP PROJECTS AND WHY.

SL. NO.

THINGS

WHY

1

Being honest.

In future, rather than being honest, I would only talk either by understanding the people and revealing what is important or reporting the issue just to the leader asking him to resolve the matter in a sensible manner.

2

Making workload reasonable for other team members by taking up the whole responsibility.

When I’m the leader, I usually try to take up the whole responsibility by minimizing the same for team members which eventually mounted my works and leaving everything incomplete. But if I split it to everyone, it would have been complete by the time.

3

Selecting leader on the basis of academic performance.

Next time I join a group project, I would suggest choosing the leader of the group to be such a person who have enough leadership and coordination skills.

4

I will not let personal conflicts interfere.

Next time, I would talk beforehand regarding the personal conflicts interference in the group project among the members making it clear to change the team if they cannot work with each other at the first stage itself.

5

Giving more works to active participants.

Now on I would suggest and only back dividing works equally among all the members rather than mounting it with active members with an idea of easy completion of the project. This is because; if we do equal division and keep deadlines the lazy and procrastinators might start working and bring best results.
