What type of questions would you need to ask vendors? What information would they need to provide to you for you to make a purchasing decision?
While selecting a vendor for the business, there are various questions that the organization needs to ask in order to ensure that the decision being made is a correct and appropriate decision for the organization. The questions that needs to be asked are:
1. What is the experience of the organization in this particular domain of the industry? - This will provide information about the organization's experience and exposure in working with such types of organizations.
2. What information do you possess about our business and its needs? - This will provide the knowledge base of the vendor regarding the organization.
3. What is their approach towards customer service - The level of dedication and importance, that they are ready to provide.
4. Infrastructure details of the vendor organizations - Safety and security aspect needs to be known which will help the organization to make the decision.
5. What is the reporting approach they use? - this will help them understand the process in case of failures in the system.
6. Quality of service? - This will help the organization be sure of the level of quality that the organization aims to achieve.
