3. The operators opinion seems to be correct, because by identifying the food cost and non food cost, there is scope for process improvement & also it will help in reducing the cost of non food items. The receiving sheet there by is very helpful in segregating the cost of food and nonfood items.
4. The receiver on receipt of question regarding the quality of the merchandise received, he should provide the quality check report received by him at the time of receipt of the merchandise if he possess else he should get the same from the quality check department and provide the same to the person who has raised the question.
5. In such an instance the receiver should not accept the delivery. Exception to the above, he has to take the approval from the department which has requested for the merchandise and also prepare a Delivery Note (with seal, sign and dated) which captures all the details of the merchandise delivered including details of person delivered and vehicle number. Also he needs to make an entry in his register of the same.
