With Oxygen in the cell, Glucose being completely oxidized because:
1.Glucose is the smallest and simpliest form of monosaccharide(Carbohydrate).
2.All living organism need energy to survive. so converting glucose to pyruvate or lactate with the production of ATP using glycolysis cycle occur in the cytoplasm.
3. It occur in all living cell i.e it is Universal pathway.
It can occur in both anaerobic and aerobic condition.During aerobic pyruvate is the end product and anaerobic lactate is the end product.
After that citric acid cycle take place to complete the oxidation of glucose which release the energy in the 2 molecules of Pyruvate.
Then Pyruvate oxidized completely in the presence of oxygen. As it is naturally important to get energy in the form of ATP and oxygen get limited.
