1. Growth hormone or the somatotropic hormone

FUNCTION

it helps in general growth of our human body  

It helps in Protein metabolism and increase the amino acid transport through cell membrane.

It helps in fat metabolism and mobilize fat from adipose tissue

It helps in carbohydrates-metabolic and increase in deposition of glycogen in cells

It helps in bone growth

2) thyroid stimulating hormone

FUNCTION

It function is to stimulate the secretion of thyroid hormone from the thyroid gland and helps in maintaining balance of hormones

3) Adrenocorticotropic hormone

FUNCTION

It helps in secretory activity and structural integrity of adrenal gland

It stimulates the adrenal gland to produce hormone like mineralocorticoid and glucocorticoid

4) Folicle stimulating hormone

FUNCTION

Cause development of primordial folicle to graphian folicle

Estrogen secretion from graphian folicle by action of FSH

Aromatase activity on granulosa cells

5) leutinizing hormone

FUNCTION

Cause maturation of secondary folicle into graphian folicle

Secretion of androgens from theca cells by stimulation by LH

Cause ovulation

6) prolactin

FUNCTION

It acts in the epithelial cells if our mammary gland and cause localisation of aveolar hyperplasia

It helps in production of milk
