Hi Team ABC,

ABC is a team of outstanding professionals, all are experts in their field and have been contributing to best of my knowledge. Though everything is running smoothly but I have observed we go back and forth when we revisit the old projects for inspiration or there is a transfer of project from one person to the other, even though we have been good there is a huge scope of improvement. So, as an organization ABC is going to boost the knowledge base of the whole organization.

From now we will start working towards making our knowledge base stronger and well-structured for management and transfer. All the project managers will initiate the document structure for each process and the experts in each project prepare the documents as per their expertise which will be hosted in the project Knowledge vault after the approval of the team leader and then with the approval and understanding of the project manager.

These new initiatives will be taken up from the very beginning of the project from the requirement document preparation to the initiation and developments. Each level would help make the project be more transparent and help build the confidence of any incoming project staff and help us learn better from past projects. Reusability, technical know-how, knowledge transfer and training will be more efficient and we all will be reaping the benefits of this in near future.

Hope the whole management team, team leaders, experts and developers are fully aligned to this initiative of making the knowledge management process a grand success. The details will be shared with the project managers who will introduce the practices with their respective team. Let the force be with you all.

AB,

CEO ABC
