What was your experience working as a team on this coffee shop project plan for this week? What worked well and what didn't? How can you improve it for the next time?
The beverage industry is one of the growing industries in the world. The beverages like tea and coffee have a special place in the market. There was a coffee shop project plan. The company is a startup, and it wanted to know the trends in the business environment. The company had an efficient team with abundant skills. The team had a motivation to perform with their utmost capabilities. The team also had a feeling of belongingness. It took into account the decisions, opinions of each, and every employee irrespective of caste or any other discrimination factor. However, the team also had some drawbacks. The first is the lack of experience and expertise. The employees were not experienced and did not have the expertise for the business. There was chaos and disagreements between the generations of employees. It led to fewer decisions and more conflicts. The manager was also not capable enough to make the right decisions and handle the situation.
Nevertheless, the teamwork and team spirit kept the operations going towards the end goal. The solution to the problem is that the managers and leaders should have individual years of experience. It will help to develop the company at a faster pace. The experienced leader will resolve all the conflicts, and keep the team as a single unit. The leader will also know how to divide the tasks to ensure expertise in the employees. The managers should also recruit the subordinates according to a particular skill set. Hence, the company should not act as a startup but should act as an experienced firm with experienced permanent employees.
