What is meant by subjective as experienced by informal caregivers? What is a primary reason that feelings of subjective burden can vary among caregivers who are doing the same task?

Caregivers re known to experience burden. While taking care of a patient, with self care deficits as well a cognitive impairments, there might be problems in behaviour of the people. This causes distress to the people since rhe deterioration of the people Is inevitable. Caregiver subjective experience means that the burden faced by one caregiver would be different or less than. The other caregiver. One of the main reasons for this is the difference in the situations faced by these people, as well as the difference in coping mechanisms. With the caregivers having greater amount of coping mechanism and greater correlation with the patient, the experiences differ with the caregivers. This experience may be feeling greater a,oust of stress and less positive feelings, leading to increased burden. This burden is less when the caregivers have positive feelings and in managing such situations, they feel proud. Though, minimisation of subjective feelings does not necessarily mean that the work of the caregiver becomes easier. For the informal caregivers, especially for conditions like dementia, there is a greater burden. The subjective burden can be reduced if :

- the informal caregiver has greater positivity

- if the coping mechanisms are sound.

- if information seeking is enhanced.

- if problem solving is emphasised

- depending on the demands of the situation, there are differences in the subjective behaviours.

- also, it depends on what objective impact is held by the caregiver, their financial states, their mental health along with their social participation.
