1. Share one personal experience (job or observation or from your readings) related to any one modern technology used to improve construction process. Is the technology widely used in the industry? If not, what do you think is the main obstacle in its wider application?

In previous age, We all knew that The building design drawings were made by hand. So it was lots of time consuming and need more man power and also if there were G+15 or greater than that building had to be constructed, it became more complex to draw the drawing like plan, elevation, cross section for the building.

And now for the helping hand of Modern technology, we all use the AutoCad, StaadPro, Revit , 3D Max etc software, by which we can draw and design easily G+15 or G+20 or more than that without taking much time. InnAutoCad and Revit, we mainly do the design and drawing part, and in Staadpro we do the analysis part.So if for a construction of G+15 or higher building, the whole design, drawing and all the analysis part we can do in just few hours, so for the using of modern technology software our construction process become easier and faster.

And also for doing the Surveying , now we use the Total Station Instrument, by which we can easily measure horizontal and vertical distance, height, bearing and all necessary things simaltaneously.

So from the design of building to design of road, design of bridge, in all cases by using our modern technology, Construction is happening faster and faster.

✓✓ Yes, this technology is widely used in idustry , as it is the initiation and most important process in the construction, and also,as it is done without taking much time and man power, it all become most necessary in industry.

✓✓✓ First of all, we need to know what is Green building.A Green building is a building which are constructed by maintaing all the aspects of nature friendly or environment friendly things like,

i.by using the environment friendly energy like solar energy that don't cause any harmful action to environment.

ii. Reuse of toxic type materials and the waste that create pollution try to recycle it.

iii. Ambient of the building must be good like good air, more trees outside of the building.

So..from this all aspects, we have known that if a building is Green building it always try to save the energy in all aspects for propertys as well as for tenants also.
