  1. Seminiferous tubules in testis
  2. Rete testis
  3. Vas efferens
  4. Epididymis
  5. Vas deferens
  6. Ampulla of vas deferens
  7. Ejaculatory duct
  8. Prostatic urethra
  9. Membranous urethra
  10. Spongy / Penile urethra (Urethra segment in the peniis)


From penile urethra, sperm is ejaculated via urethral orifice.


Accessory glands


1) Seminal vesicle : It secretes thick seminal fluid that make upto 60% of semen volume. The fluid contains nutrients to activate the sperm such as fuctorse and vitamin C.

2) Prostate gland : It secretes fluid that make upto 30% of semen volume. This fluid functions to enhance the motility of the sperm. The fluid is slightly alkaline to protect the sperm when it travels through acidic medium in female reproductive tract.

2) Bulbourethral gland : It secretes fluid that make upto 10% of semen volume. This fluid contains mucus that helps in lubrication and cleansing of the urethra.
