What are the six basic elements of a performance management program?

The six elements of a performance management program are:-
1. Performance criteria
This refers to the individual values of performance by the different employees, these values can be direct, indirect or objective and subjective in nature.
2. Performance measures
This refers to the actual value of all the different employee performances that can be measured and compared with relation to a set value.
3. Performance appraisal interviews
This refers to the interviews by the HR department in order to determine if your performance has been satisfactory enough to warrant a pay raise/ a promotion, also, it is important to gain the feedback of the management and allow them to redesign the job according to the needs of the employee.
4. Employee Feedback
This refers to the feedback that is provided by the employee which determines the current factors that cause problems while working, or, values that need to be changed in order to implement the better functionality.
5. Employee record
This involves the use of employee record in order to determine their potential value and the progress that they have shown since they have joined the current position and also how much more potential they have that can be utilized to achieve the goals of the company.
6. HR management involvement and decisions
According to all the above values, the HR department makes their decisions that are then followed by the company in the hjo[es pf gaining structural; and functional efficiency. HR also focuses on the core values of the company and work towards it.
