Expert Solution

1. Brainology is simple terms means that intelligence is malleable.

2. Growth mindset is the belief that ones intelligence is not fixated and has the capacity to grow further by learning every step of the way. This is called growth mindset. The antithesis of this is called the Fixed mindset.

3. Challenges - A person with a growth mindset would almost invite challenges and circumvent it, or try to, whereas an individual with a fixed mindset would try and hide from the challenges.

b. Obstacles - these would seem like a minro glitch to a person who has a growth mindset, they would take it in stride and maeuver throught it , but a fixed mindset would probably be stressed and break out in anxiety by the effect of an obstacle.

c. Effort - People with the growth mindset overview would always make the needed and the extra effort to get a task completed, but the people with fixed mindset would shy away from extra effort as they do not believe in themselves and in the capacity of their intelligence to grow, and fear away, as a result, for they think they'd appear 'dumb'

d. Criticism - This would be taken well by a person with the growth perspective as they would incorporate it in the part of their learning, but the fixed individual would take it as a validation for the apparent fixed intelligence.

e. Success of other - This would not affect people with the growth perspective as they would believe in their capabilities to reach a certain spot, but fixed people would either fear their way to accomplishment or be bitter.
