It is of utmost importance for managers and leaders and to be able to understand and comprehend organizational behavior in terms of their employees and organizations as the individuals (employees) build in terms of personnel to create and form an organism of work force. If the motivational behavior (both extrinsic and intrinsic) is not comprehended, it could lead to a half hearted understanding of the employee behavior, which could lead to dissatisfaction and unfulfilled desires in work place that could result in untapped potential, which could hamper the work morale of employees and in turn the organization.
Once the management style of a manager and/or leader is understood it can be juxtaposed with the management style of the organization. Recruitment of these positions are based on the type and kind of skill sets that are required to handle a certain kind of management and hence a certain kind of organization.
Organizational Behavior is quite a necessary domain of study in order to insure a healthy and functioning organization.
