What are the vessels that supply oxygenated blood to the heart called?
The coronary circulation of our heart supply oxygenated blood to the heart.
The aorta mainly carries the oxygenated blood which gets divided in to left and right coronary arteries. These coronary arteries in turn branch off to smaller arteries which supply blood to the entire heart.
The left coronary artery supplies oxygenated blood to the left side of the heart which is larger and more muscular to pump out blood to the whole body except the lungs.
The right coronary artery pumps oxygenated blood to the right side of the heart which is smaller than the left because it supplies only to the lungs.
