There are different types of project meetings in an organization:
1. Governance meeting: A governance meeting is when the senior leaders discuss the project with the subordinates and the team members. It also includes regular updates on the leadership in the enterprise. It is a monthly, quarterly, and yearly update on the leadership style and the organizations' initiatives. It is a formal type of meeting to discuss the critical issues and concerns in the company.
2. Project team meeting: The project manager organizes and leads the meeting. It is a meeting to keep the team up to date, which allows sharing the status and position of the project's progress. The team has to attend the meeting regularly to make the required improvements and every week. The meetings also bring into account any new agenda or objective in the project. It also narrows down to the most relevant objectives and agendas. It is less formal than the governance meeting. The members also have to give an update on the development of the project.
3. Stakeholders engagement meetings: It is the most essential and classic approach for successful management. The meetings help the company to get better investments, and people to buy-in. The management understands the requirements and needs of the stakeholders to perform efficiently. It is a meeting that engages more and more people in the decision-making process to give useful insights into the project. It is because stakeholders are the main drivers of the project. The company should keep in mind their satisfaction level.
