Basically, status in an organization is defined by the designations, responsibilities, positions, structure, recognitions or labels such as when a person is selected or promoted as a director of the company, senior manager, supervisor, agent. It defines the roles or responsibilities of a person in an organization. It is the position a person who holds in the organization for which he or she is being hired. It gives individuals a self-esteem of recognition in the department or company.
Talking about the status and how it affects individuals in agribusiness is that industry has shifted from agriculture to agribusiness in few years and agribusiness has expanded its areas of working and defining the work of agriculture in its own way. With the increase in employment opportunities in agribusiness, individuals had grabbed a lot of opportunities but in agribusiness, there is a big amount of risk involved and that risk can ultimately affect the individual's status in the organization. If the results are not being created then there would be no use of status or designation of an individual in the organization. With a high level of personal risks involved, the individual will always be blamed if he or she holds status in the organization and has to be answerable to all.
