Discretionary employee benefits are benefits given the employees for their job performance. I believe that these benefits should be earned based on the employee performances because if organizations offer benefits to the employees without their performance, employees never workhard for the organization growth. These benefits should be given to the employees unfairly so that they will be motivated and work hard for the organization.
Legally required benefits include employers cost for their medical insurances, workers compensation and also the state unemployment insurances.
Workers compensation insurance- This insurance help the employees if any person was injured during the performance of the job. This insurance can be claimed for their medicare needs.
Disability Insurance- Disability insurance is similar to the compensation insurance that which supports the employees who are ill and cannot perform their job to no extent.
Yes, law requires these benefits for the employees because without any benefits employees will not perform their tasks fairly. If these benefits are assigned to the employees according to the law then it will be sanctioned easily to the employees.
Yes, I believe that these laws are fair for both employees and employers because these laws give more benefits to them. So that I believe these are fair. According to the law employers and employees can have their benefits very easily.
