Integrate your knowledge of the nervous (autonomic and somatic), cardiovascular, respiratory and endocrine systems by describing how delivery of substrate and removal of wastes to/from your muscles is affected by exercise. Include the trigger for each of the responses you mention.

Solutions

Expert Solution

Exercise helps in maintaining health of an individual . The nervous system is triggered when we so Exersice a we move each muscle and joint in our body with the help of nervous system and it control the removal of waste by stimulating the

  1. Cardiovascular system - it plays a vital role in the delivery of o2 to the muscle and remove co2 from our body . This is done by the stimulation of the cardiovascular system by the sympathetic nervous systems that triggers the endocrine system that is the adrenal gland to produce Epinephrine and nor epinephrine into the blood . This cause the heart to pump blood with high rate and increase the stroke volume of blood from the heart . This will help in meeting the increase need if O2 in cells and removal of co2 from the cell.
  2. Respiratory system is triggered by the peripheral and central chemoreceptors by the increase in blood pH and the co2 level in blood . This lead to and increase in the respiratory rate by RESPIRATORY centre in brain . This will help in increasing O2 inspiration and increase excretion of co2 from blood through lungs
  3. The endocrine system that is insulin secretion increase causing the uptake of glucose into cells for energy

All these are the major actions

This term we have studied the Digestive, Nervous, Urinary, Integumentary and Respiratory Systems. For your written assignment this week list the major body systems for these systems. Describe the normal function of each of these and where the anatomically lie in the body. Describe common pathology, including signs, systems and what may cause these disease or condition. Lastly, what diagnostics are there to identify these diseases and conditions, and what treatments are currently available.
