Identify and shadow a leader known personally to you whom you consider to be effective, the leader may be from your workplace or other professional organization where you are involved, excluding members of your family. In shadowing the leader, observe what makes this individual effective; consider his or her strength
leadership styles, relationships, and interactions with followers. Based on this analysis, identify three lessons about leadership effectiveness that can be learned from this leader
My team manager is the one whom I admire the most when it comes
to selecting one individual who has effective leadership qualities.
What makes this person effective is the integrity he possesses. He
isn't willing to compromise any moral values for any sake at all.
He is s true and unique leader who provides value and respect to
others. What I consider his strength is that he gives hope to
others even at uncertainties. The positivity and the path shown by
the leader surely gets reflected in individuals.
I will include his leadership style in Authoritative style. Unlike
autocrats, he is more generous and cares more about his followers.
He has a friendly relationship with all, but he always holds the
power and shows his authority. When the organization is going
through uncertainties, he gives hope to others and leads others in
adversities. He always makes sure that his ideas and message is
being conveyed properly to others.
3 lessons I have learned from this leader are:-
Always have self-awareness about your potential.
Always observe your Environment keenly.
Always hold on to your moral values.
