More species diversity (alpha diversity) leads to more
environment stability, however the linking among biodiversity and
ecology is complex.
Greater species variety (alpha range) leads to more environment
stability. This is termed the "range–stability speculation." An
ecosystem that has a more number of species is much more likely to
withstand a disturbance than an environment of the equal length
with a lower range of species.
However, the reality is that biodiversity does no longer
continually have the equal role for every environment and at each
factor of time. This relationship is very complicated, tormented by
people, ecological succession, range, and a host of different
elements.
A landscape that has been disturbed regularly has high
biodiversity, as colonizing species take benefit of the open
niches. However, many of those species do not hold lasting
populations as time passes and succession occurs. Given time,

likely be less numerous however it will be more herbal and
representative of the authentic surroundings.
