Who is happy, happier and happiest?
People who are happy are the ones who have identified the real reason of their happiness. Being happy may not be through earning too much money, but may be through non materialistic things that give mental peace. Things that trigger the feeling of happiness. Once, a person identifies the smaller things that trigger happiness feelings, a person should be able to identify moe Number of events that would carry out happiness. This may be in the form of spending time with the family reading a good novel. Increased frequency of these events, would make a person happier. A person who is happiest, is someone who would be able to motivate themselves on a regular basis, such that there would be happy things or good things in the life of themselves and their family.
What doesn’t lead to happiness, that we mistakenly think will?
People think, that the intense experiences of being happy, which are random, and infrequent in Number, may be the reality of the state of being happy. Though, this is not the real case. In this case, there is a disbalance between the positives and the negatives, where, the frequency of negatives is greater. Such people, are not really happy but think that they are happy.
Has the definition of happiness changed significantly over the last few decades?
Today, the definition of happiness is limited to money. People think, that the greater the amount of money earned by them the higher is the happiness meter. For students, percentage defines happiness. For people having higher income wealth that is enough to meet the basic needs would be enough to make a person happy. Income boost may provide temporary happiness but not permanent happiness.
