Now it is time to look at a second concern and move closer to becoming a High-Reliability Organization. The next executive briefing concern that I want to have addressed – Internal Care Coordination. Communication seems to be a big piece of this, so I want us to understand what this means. What do we need to have in place for effective care coordination to prevent patient harm? Standardization is very essential task of any Electronical health record. Buy standardizing the data we mean that we have to bring all the data in a similar format that all the Healthcare organisation or a group or Organisation in which that specific electronic health record is distributed could use the data for the benefit of the patients in a General form.
For implementing electronic health record system into and Healthcare organisation we can easily implement standardizing the data in a specific format which is understood by the multiple departments of the same organisation. By increasing the level of understanding between the tape department we can improve the overall efficiency of the specific company. Healthcare organisations are all about the data of the patient. By having a generalized term in the data management system inter connectivity between the departments would be directly increased which would be really result in increased interaction between the departments and a better productivity of the organisation.
By having unimplemented system which is directly capable of being understood by each and every employee in the organisation Healthcare services can be more effective as a doctor can understand the data acquired by a compound or a nurse. By having an understanding over different platforms we can increase the level of involvement of the doctors as well as the system to the patient.
Electronic health record also provides a better support for the patient to check his or her history according to the medical background. By having a unified information which can be accessed anywhere anytime and can be understood by anyone we can easily increase the level of Health Care given to a specific patient as the data stored in the electronic health records would be recognised by each and every organisation for a better support to the patient.
