Expert Solution

Importance of good communication skills from an interviewer's perspective:

  • Good communication would help an interviewer to explain about the vacant position and its requirements
  • It will help the interviewer to understand the interviewee and know about his/her past experience and knowledge
  • See if a potential employee will be able to successfully represent the company's brand and positively spread awareness of that brand
  • Determine if a candidate will be able to effectively handle unsatisfied customers in an empathetic manner
  • The interviewer will be able to determine if someone will be able to work well within a team

A training session for the importance of good communication skills for interviewers should include how to gauge a candidate's knowledge, abilities, and their skills. The training can be distributed in the following sessions:

  • Typical questions that can be asked at the beginning and expected answers
  • How to look for signs and words to gauge candidates about their expected behavior
  • Understand the job requirements in details and what kind of people would fit into the role
  • How to explain and write acceptance and rejection emails to potential candidates
