Think of five everyday movements (example: snatching a foot)
For each, indicate the movement, the bones involved, the joints involved, and the type of joint movements
1. Movement : Nodding our head, ( like as if to say " yes ')
joint involved : Atlanto-axis joint.
Joint movement : neck flexion.
Bones involved : Atlas and occipetal bone.
2. Movement : Turning a door knob.
Joint movement, pronation ( palm facing down ), supination ( palm facing upwards)
Joint involved : Radiohumeral joint
Bones involved : Radius and ulna ( forearm) humerus (upper arm) metacarpals and phalanges ( fingers)
3. Movement : holding a pen.
Joint movement : Wrist extension and flexion of fingers.
Joints involved : Metacarpophalanges joint.
Bones involved : radius and ulna (wrist extension) carpals, phalanges ( finger flexion)
4. Movement : Waving your hand.
Joint movement : shoulder flexion, elbow flexion, wrist extension and finger flexion.
Joint involved : shoulder joint, elbow joint, wrist joint.
Bones involved : clavicle, scapula humerus ( shoulder joint), radius and ulna (elbow joint) carpals and metacarpals (wrist joint).
5. Movement of foot upwards, so that foot is closer to the shin.
Joint movement : Dorsiflexion.
Joints involved : ankle joint.
Bones : tibia and fibula of leg and talus of foot.
