What makes high throughput sequencing faster and cheaper?

In these methods DNA is amplified by PCR, physical binding of template DNA to a solid surface or microbeads. In these methods thousands or millions of sequencing reactions are run at a single time to greatly increase speed and do faster to conserve time. Therefore these techniques are also called massively parallel DNA sequencing. These have been refined to increase speed and accuracy and decrease cost charges. Presently, some new methods have been developed to yield hundreds of millions of base pairs in just a few hours. There are more no. of chemicals, reactions and enzymes to be used in the traditional methods to show accuracy and redundancy. Therefore, these methods require more cost and time
