Using 300 words or less on "The Great 8 Compensies Model" / "Strategic Talent Management Model," identify clearly and explain organizational issue/problems that could be resolved using these theories/models.
The Great eight competencies model is a helpful tool that is utilized in recruitment and retention policies of a particular organization. According to a recent study personality factors have been able to predict the success of a given individual in a given organizational structure.
The problem of incompetencies hampering the work morale of an organization can be removed by the utilization of this model. Many of these competencies are related in a relative view with personality.
The eight competencies are:
Leading and Deciding
Supporting and Cooperating
Interacting and Presenting
Analyzing and Interpreting
Creating and Conceptualizing
Organizing and Executing
Adapting and Coping
Enterprising and Performing
The Strategic Talent Management model aids a given organization in recognizing talent that is congruent with the work morale of the given company, and aims to retain that talent and thus the employee.
This helps in aligning the individual goals of an employee with the goals and objectives of the given organization. This helps in disseminating the individual problems that might stem and vitiate the work morale of the entity that is the organization.
This way the employees don't feel as thought they are a detached entity of the organization, but are a part of the organization which propels them to work with more determination.
By the association of incentives and performance, the latter can be increased.
