Why is it so hard to get a good measure of a person's personality? What are some of the best techniques for measuring personality?
As per the scientists, Meehl and Cronback who deeply studied personality traits it is difficult to measure a person's personality as they are intangible and cannot be seen physically and just constructs.
The measurement of anything makes sense only when it the result can be corroborated with what was intended to be measured in the first place which cannot be done in case of a person's personality. It is very subjective and open to interpretation making to making it even more difficult to measure or quantify in a meaningful manner.
