I work in a retail company as a Assistant Store Manager. I face
serious leadership issues with the leaders.
- The first issue is the because of the competition with the
other retail stores there are huge competition ad because fo this
the leaders are concentrated toward more profit generation than the
growth of the employees. The only thing the leadership is expecting
is the sale revenue from the stores.
- The second issue is the conference call of the leader. The
leader has 15 stores and a tram of nearly 50 people. There are
nearly 150 miles distances between the stores hence the leader talk
only on the phone. If there is a holiday of any employee then too
he or she has to attend the con-call. This ruins the freedom of the
employee.
- The third issue is that the leader does not support much in the
complicated need and expect too much. For an example if the store
needs more petty cash to meet the marketing expanses then the
leader denies the same and does not corporate with the head office
team.
So these were some issues I am facing with the leadership in my
organization.
