TiO2/ZnO based nanocomposite structure are mainly used in the application of dye-sensitized solar cells and photocatalytic environmental based applications. There is a lot more range of methods, whether it should be it chemical or physical for its fabrication.
Sol-Gel method: It is a promising, simple and cost-efficient method for many types of TiO2/ZnO nanocomposite structures preparation.
Electrochemical method and Sol-gel Spray spin coating method.
This recent method , TiO2/ZnO based nanocomposite structures are far more effective method than conventional TiO2 structures in the context that combination and morphology blending with these two provides very effective and fast charge transfer which is required for applications.
