Trust in Data - Address the following two questions for this week's discussion:
1. Would you agree that combining "poor data quality/lack of trust in the data or the results" in one challenge is correct, or are these actually two different challenges?
2. How do you suggest to improve the trust in data?
1.) I think both are actually two different challenges, because 'poor data' impacts our financial resources and negatively impacts our efficiency, productivity, and credibility whereas 'lack of trust in the data' impacts analysts confidence in a negative way, the data becomes ineffective and like poor data, it also affects the efficiency of analysts and the organization involved .
2.) Steps we can use to improve the trust in data:
a) We have to improve the transparency by implementing third party reviews and stronger quality assurance processes.
b) We have to encourage innovation and experimentation and assure the teams not to have the fear of failure.
c) We have to train the analysts teams to achieve the level of expertise.
d) We have to set goals for them, so they can focus in that particular direction.
