3c) List and explain why AISI 1050 Plain Carbon Steel is more prone to cracking and distortion as compared to AISI 01 Tool Steel during hardening heat treatment.

remarks: For the question above, shouldn’t it be the other way round? AISI 01 Tool steel have higher hardenability so quenching in water will crack in comparision to plain carbon steel that has low hardenability so it requires fast cooling. Need help with this, thanks.
