information process allows the company to focus on its core business processes and on what it does best?

A) True

B) False

Solutions

Expert Solution

Answer: True

Justification

The information process refers to the set of steps that transforms the raw figures and data into interpretable or meaningful information. While considering this in a business context, information processes give a better insight to the internal stakeholders as well as the external on the potential of the company, core business processes, and what it does the best.

For example, there would a lot of processes, businesses, customer interactions, financial interpretations that will be happening every day in a company, but all of them are just raw figures when considering them separately. But, if someone could analyze all of this and make it in a well-arranged and presentable format it will become more understandable where that is meant to be the information process.

And, someone could collect all these raw facts and figures and interpret it into a proper format like an information which is much helpful to have a view on the business processes, how the business is going on, how is the overall productivity and whether it meets the expectations, what is the best possible outcome that could be gained out from the current input, etc. All these kind of information processes pointing towards the better focusing on business processes and what it does the best from a company's perspective.

If you liked the answer please give an Up-vote, this will be quite encouraging for me, thank you!
