Give an example of each type of tissue in a frog
Describe its general anatomy
Describe its basic function
Frog has mainly four different types of tissues - muscular tissue, nervous tissue, connective tissue and epithelial tissue.
Muscular tissue - striated muscle
Nervous tissue - neuron
Connective tissue - blood vessels
Epithelial tissue - skin
3. The frog has an unusual anatomy system which enables it to move from one place to another. It uses its webbing of feet in order to swim. This feature is important because it helps the frog to move faster and in mating in the water. The frogs have long hind legs which helps it to jump from one place to another. This feature is related to structure and function because it protects them from the predators. This part of frog's body also helps it to swim with quick and strong strokes. The last and third part is the front leg. This part is not as useful as the last part but it has certain role. It helps the frog to prop up.
Frog has its own feeding system. It's tongue flips out to eat a fly. It has unique type of tongue because it us attached to the front part of the mouth instead of its back which in quickly catching the food. Frog has a camouflaged skin which helps it in changing it's body colour which in turn helps it to catch prey.
The third system is the respiratory system. This part helps it in breathing both on the land and under water. Generally, the adult frogs have lungs which helps them in breathing when they are on land. Frog's lung functions in the same way as the human's lung. Frogs can also breathe through their skin. The oxygen permeates through frog's skin and enters it's bloodstream directly. This helps the frog to live underwater. The respiratory system helps the frog in producing voice and in turn attracting female frog.
