Explanation- Translation is the process of polymerisation of amino acids to form a polypeptide by reading the sequence of bases on mRNA. Bases when read in triplets are called codons.

  • tRNA are molecules which recognises the codons on mRNA and pairs with them with anticodons on their anticodon loop.following base pair rule and then recognises the proper amino acid on by reading the codons on mRNA and attaches the amino acid on amino acid acceptor arm or end corresponding to that codon.
  • In translation, amino acids are activated with the use of ATP and then gets attched to tRNA following codon -anticodon base pairing and the process is called charging of tRNA and then the translation occurs of mRNA to form a polypeptide.
  • Replication is the process of formation of two copies of nucleic acid i.e. DNA.
  • Transcription is the process of formation of mRNA from DNA .
  • RNA processing is the process of conversion of hnRNA (heterogenous RNA) into mature mRNA by the process of splicing, capping and tailing.
  • Base- pairing rule- Adenine pairs with thymine in case of DNA and uracil in case of RNA and Guanine always base pairs with cytosine.
