Diversity is referred to as, “A characteristic of a group or organization whose members differ from one another along one or more important dimensions, such as age, gender, or ethnicity” (Griffin, 2016, p. 244). As businesses hire people to help in the manufacturing of goods or the provision of services, they can benefit or be faced with conflict from these diverse group sets.

A culturally diverse workplace also brings in some issues like an increase in internal conflict. But the workplace can become better by having a greater level of emotional intelligence. Emotional intelligence helps in understanding the other team members in a better way and it leads to the optimum team cohesion and the team's achieve better performance standards. IF required the training on the behavioral and emotional intelligence can be designed and given to the team members.
