Develop your Career Progression Plan

Q2: Suppose you are an IT Officer, according to your career development plan, how do you make your decision on your future path.  (More than 500 words)

Answer 1) Career development or planning for better future is never easy, it takes a lot of hard work and a lot of patience is required so this is how I will plan to make my future better.

1. Self-Evaluation: Here I would be learning about myself first that in what areas I am good and in what areas I as an employee, person, human is lacking because if you want to upgrade yourself the very first step is to know yourself better. By analyzing my likes and dislikes my good areas and my bad areas, areas where I am poor then I will be creating a list of all these items and will do a personality test that is myers briggs personality test which will tell me about my personality areas. With perfect self evaluation I will come to know myself better and first step will be fulfilled so that I can move forward

2. Exploration: Next step is to look for all possible up gradation options here I will look and stalk all those opportunities where I feel I have a score in future. Be it searching on Linkedin, asking friends or taking help of sources. I will be analyzing all those work opportunities from the prospects of what will be better for me. I will look into companies like L&T, Tata’s TCS etc

3. Decision Making: The next step is after analyzing all the possible and potential work options I will be analyzing that what will be best for me and where I will get the best of growth then after that I will be taking a decision which will be taken after full concentration and seriousness because switching a job is never easy especially when you want to promote yourself. I will choose the strategy of brand name instead of package because brand name and profile of job is more important than the package

4. Goal Setting: The I will be creating my future goal that what will be my future goal, setting goal for life is very important because when you have a goal in life then only you work hard for achieving it. So then I will be setting some personal and professional goals in life for which I will work hard to achieve them. Along with goals I will be setting objectives and my plans that how will I fulfill my objectives and goals. So plans will be to work for a company which is famous rather than the more packages giving company because working with a company which is famous is really helpful when looking from a future prospective.

5. Implementing: After doing analyzing of self, exploring the opportunities, making a perfect decision and setting of goal I will be implementing these strategies and looking for a perfect self growth. All this analysis will help me to understand myself and understand my requirement and the plans, the objectives and the goal that I make for my future will help me in a long run and will be helpful in motivating me all the time.
