Can you draw this network diagram out?
There are two available rooms, named RH401 and RH402, in the RH building. You are asked to set up RH401 as a new server room and RH402 as a new computer lab. Design a Local area network which satisfies the following conditions.
1) Three server machines and a client PC in RH401 Computer Names: DNS-DHCPsrv (Server with DNS/DHCP services), WEBsrv (Web server), GWsrv (Gateway server), WIN10-1 (Client machine)
2) Five client PCs in RH402 Computer Names: WIN10-2, WIN10-3, WIN10-4, WIN10-5, and WIN10-6
3) You have Two 8-port switches.
4) Cables as floorboards need.
5) Only RH401 has an Ethernet port on a wall to connect to the network in the RH building.
- The RH building’s network has Internet access and a DNS server somewhere in the building except (RH401 and RH402).
- Your DNS server (i.e., DNS-DHCPsrv) will use the external DNS server to perform the Name Resolution. The IP address of the external DNS server is 192.168.1.2/24.
6) You can install cables between RH401 and RH402 under the floorboards.
7) All computers in your LAN should have Internet access.
8) Static IP addresses cannot be assigned to client machines in both RH401 and RH402.
9) You are allowed to use 172.20.18.0/25 for your LAN
- One of the network interface cards (NICs) on the gateway server is set to receive an IP address dynamically assigned by the DHCP server installed in the building network (192.168.1.0/24)
- The other NIC on your gateway server uses the static IP: 172.20.18.1/25 o Static IP: 172.20.18.2/25 is used for your DNS/DHCP server.
- Static IP: 172.20.18.3 /25 is used for your Web server.
