A straightforward interpretation of your data suggests a universe of galaxies that has been expanding for over 10 billion years. How do you incorporate this information into your view of God as Creator? Do you interpret the Biblical account of creation as stating that God created the entire universe of galaxies and stars at the same time He put man on Earth?

Solutions

Expert Solution

Galaxies are expanding for over 10 billion years. This is expanding universe. If if go back then this expansion must be started from a point and this point is known as Big Bang or singular point. A singular point (singularity) is a point of zero volume having infinite density. Now one can say that this Big Bang was created by external creator. But there is no need of external creator at this point. There is an idea of repeating Big Bang i.e. there is no bounce (big crunch) after contraction of universe. This crunch phenomena is also other kind of Big Bang which will again create a cosmos. This repeating big bang was mathematically proved by Prof. Hawking and Roger Penrose. there is M theory of Sir Richard Feynman which predict the existence of multiple universe and many of these universe can have humanity like on earth. All these are natural phenomena, there is no need of external creator to explain this.

I will be glad to see your comment if you have any query and thumb up if you are satisfied. Thanks....

The large scale structure of the universe has been carefully mapped using redshift surveys of a very large number of galaxies. A. Suppose that a large telescope with modern equipment can measure the redshift to a galaxy in just 10 minutes. And suppose we want to spend no more than a year map- ping the distribution of galaxies. How many redshifts can be surveyed? B. There are about 100 billion galaxies in the visible universe. What fraction of the uni-...

Consider an economy that has been steadily expanding for several years and is expected to continue growing at the same pace in the next couple of years. In this period, the ratio of budget deficit to GDP has been about 3 percent and public debt-GDP ratio has hovered around 100 percent. Both ratios as well as the interest rate and the inflation rate have been steady and are expected to remain so if economic growth continues at its current pace....

The Sodium/potassium ATPase pump has been called the “center of the universe.” Why do you think that is? You will need to explain electrochemical gradients, resting membrane potentials and ion movement. You will also need to cover the difference between osmolarity and concentration. You should include examples of three different places in the body that we have learned about cellular processes and how the sodium/potassium ATPase pump plays a role (Only one of these should be electrical). feel free to...

Research Prime Company has been expanding rapidly and is now an extremely diversified company for its size. It currently owns three companies with manufacturing facilities, two companies primarily in retail sales, a consumer finance company, and two natural gas pipeline companies. This has led to some conflict between the company’s chief accountant and its treasurer. The treasurer advocates presenting no more than five assets and three liabilities on its balance sheet. The chief accountant has resisted combining balances from substantially...

(Value of Investment) Your real estate adviser has come back with some revised forecasts. He suggests that you rent out the building for two years at $30,000 a year, and predicts that at the end of that time you will be able to sell the building for $840,000. Thus there are now two future cash flows—a cash flow of C1 = $30,000 at the end of one year and a further cash flow of C2 = (30,000+840,000) = $870,000 at...
