Project scope is all about the project i.e project scope tells about requirements of the product and what things need to create product. Project scope also explains what activity or work needs to perform to deliver the product or service. Project scope tells about the features of the project and results of the project along with constraints and assumptions of the projects. Let suppose a bridge construction is a project then all the information related to build the bridge is the project scope. Actually all the relevant information related to build the project.

Product scope is all about the product details. Product scope will tell about how the products look like, how it will perform and all its features. Let suppose if phone be the product then screen size, battery life of the phone will be scope of the product. Scope of the product is the features of the product and what you need to describe the product.

For example in real life we can give an example let suppose a housing building has to build and here housing building will be a product. The project scope is the requirements to build the house. The product scope is how the house will be build, how many rooms will be build, how the rooms will be look like and how the design will be. The project scope is the plan to build the house. How many days it will take to build the house, budget plan to complete the house building.

The difference is that product plans tells what needs to build or what is the requirement and project plans tells about how the products will be delivered.
