In 300 words Describe examples of your own experience with inflammation. Include a description of the cause, appearance, impaired function and sensations experienced.
Inflammation is a vascular and cellular response to trauma. Its purpose is to initiate the healing of injured tissue.
Inflammation is body's attempt to dispose of micro organims , foreign materials and dying tissues so that tissue repair can occur.
An inflammatory response may result from external or internal factor (infection).
Inflammation is example of innate immunity.
Acute Inflammation:- Pain , redness, immobility, swelling and heat
Chronic Inflammation:- Fatigue, Chest pain, abdominal pain, mouth sores, fever , rash , jont pain.
Causes of Chronic Inflammation
1. Mild but chronic allergies or sensitivity to some food.
2.A disruption in the population or composition of the normal microbes of gut
3. Environmental toxins eg :- smog, preservatives in food.
4. Chronic stress whether psychological or psychological drive up cortisol production and create inflammation.
Causes of acute information
1.Infection and microbial toxins
2. Tissue necrosis
3. Foreign bodies
4. Immune reactions
Inflammation is usually beneficial, it often cause unpleasant sensations such as pain of a soar throat or itching of insect bite , discomfort is usually temporary and disappears when inflammatory response has dine its jobs.
