When a solution is diluted, there are more no.of free ions are present and they have more area to move, i.e. the distance between the two ions is relatively more than the concentrated solution and mobility of ions increase which leads to increase in molar conductivity of the solution.

Hence when a solution is diluted, the conductivity of solution decreases and molar conductivity of solution increases.
