Ans1) One of the causes of American revolution was the French and the Indian war. This war occurred between the New France and American colonies. Both the countries were associated with local American people. This war began in 1754 and go long till 1763. British soldiers helped colonists during the war and even provided protection once the war was over. Britain paid these troops as they were not providing services free of cost. To arrange money to pay to these troops, parliament of British decided to put taxes on Americans.This was one of the cause of American revolution.

This war in North America made many regional gains for Great Britain. This war meant considerable growth of British cliams in fresh world but Britain's debt were increased due to expenses of war .So disputes regarding frontier policies and payment of war expenses resulted in colonial dissatisfaction.
