REVIEW OF LITERATURE

i) "Factors leading to work stress and its impact on employee performance"-Jayadev Babu Divakar(2015):This study modestly attempt to study the various factors contributing to stress in the work environment and its impact on employees.The major objective of this study was to analyze the various factors contributing to stress and how it effect the employees working in reliance fresh. The methodology of study adpted both qualitative and quantitative techniques to collect the data.In this study he identifies the main factors contributing to the stress in work place as long hours of work,work load in the working place,strict deadlines to be followed by the workers,lack of autonomy etc and explains how these factors demotivate the workers in work place.

ii)"Perception of work stress causes and effective interventions in employees working in public ,private and non governmental organizations"-Kamal deep Bhui:The main objective of this study was to identify various causes of stress at the work place .The study adopted qualitative techniques to collect the data and conducted interview for 51 workers from various organizations.The study identified adverse working conditions and management stress as the main causes for stress.The study suggested that the personal interventions outside the work place will help to reduce the stress in work place.

iii)"A qualitative study on the cause of stress and management at Volvo trucks AB,Umea"-Najomoddin Nekzada(2013):The main purpose if the study was to have a clear idea of various factors causing stress and how the stress is managed.The study adopted qualitative method and structured interviews to collect the data from the workers.The major findings of the study include the overload in the work,conflicts among the employees and managers,etc as the main cause of stress among the employees.The study suggests that the management should adopt resources for reducing the stress level of the employees and provide certain facilities such as health facilities ,entertainment facilities to reduce the stress of employees.

iv)"A Study On Work Stress And Its Impact On Employees Productivity"-Abhijeet Rawat:The major objective of this study was to study the various reasons contributing to job stress of lectures and to analyze how this stress influenced the employees productivity.
