First of all let us look at some reasons of stress at workplace for employees :

Heavy workload in the office , long hours of work , a person can face job insecurity , not so good relations with callegues , changes in the type of work a person is doing , lack of support from the co- workers etc.

The affect of the stress caused on the performance of the employees :

1) The stressful mind will lead to disinterest in the work , hence leading to deteriorating performance of the employee .

2) It lead to poor quality of work .

3) It lead to imbalance in work life and personal life hence bad performance of the employee.

4 ) It may lead to high errors in the work by the employee .

5) Stress can affect the health of the employee and hence the absenteeism will increase .

6) The employee would be less productive .

7) It may cause trouble in your relationships with co-workers .

8) It may cause low morales at work and hence not good performance by the employee.
